Walter PRICE

Thanks to one of our volunteers, Danelle Warnock, I am now posting this miner, who although was listed on the WAVMM database, for some reason his name did not transfer to the web site and create a profile for him. Danelle was very kind to share her photographs of mining accident victims buried in the Kalgoorlie cemetery, and amongst them was the following image.

Walter Price was only 26yrs old when he was poisoned by cyanide at the Ivanhoe Cyanide plant at the Golden Horseshoe Mine. He was a single man and the only son of Captain Price of Kalgoorlie.
