INQUEST ON DANIEL McGLINCHY.
A MEDICAL PRACTITIONER CENSURED.
Cue, February 12.
The inquest touching the death of Daniel McGlinchy, who died at Peak Hill recently from burns caused by blasting powder becoming ignited, has been concluded.
The jury returned the following verdict:-"That deceased came to his death from shock, the result of burns received in No. 7 shaft of Peak Hill Company's mine, such death being hastened by the careless treatment and neglect of Dr. Fullard. In the absence of expert medical evidence, the jury do not consider that they are competent to say whether deceased would have recovered or not."
