A serious mining accident occurred at the Peak Hill Boulder mine, when a miner named Charles Mclnnes on Monday afternoon was very badly injured by an explosion of dynamite, it is supposed that a shot put in an hour previously partly exploded, and in cleaning out the hole again he had come into contact with the remaining portion of the dynamite. Mclnnes received severe injuries to the face and his condition at present very critical.
