Other Information
Arrived in Australia - 8 January 1924, Fremantle, Western Australia, on board the "Osterly". His sons took over the mine after his death.

With the advent of WW2 the Ronchi boys enlisted in 1942. Felice (Phil) was sent home with asthma, Angelo ended up a Sapper in Bougainville and Battiste (Bob) saw action at Kokoda with the 39th. I understand water ingress took over the mine while the brothers were away in the forces and it was abandoned.
