A serious accident occurred at the Great Fingall mine about 10 o'clock Sunday night [28 July], which resulted in severe injuries to an Italian named A. Zanandrini. It appears that an ore pass was blocked, and while Zanandrini was engaged in clearing it, a quantity of rock fell on him, severely crushing his left leg, and causing severe flesh wound on the right leg.
