Diagnosis or cause of accident
A quarter of a ton fell on James Moyle, completely submerging him, with the exception of his head. Four workmates hastily removed the debris from Moyle, and he was conveyed to the Collie Hospital where an examination disclosed that, although he was badly bruised, no bones were broken. He was detained for observation, then collapsed, death being due, it is thought, to internal injuries.
