Diagnosis or cause of accident
A terrific storm burst over Kanowna. Dunn was descending the Duke of Westminster shaft, White Feather, to escape the storm, fell 67ft. and received injuries from which he died. A fellow miner who was working with deceased stated that as he was coming up the shaft he saw Dunn slip off the bottom rung of the ladder and fall head first down the shaft.
