Diagnosis or cause of accident
Two young men lost their lives and three other miners were affected by inhaling fracteur fumes in a shaft which was being sunk on the Phoenix Mine at Norseman. The dead are: KENNETH McLAREN (24) and ALBERT CALE (26). McLaren gave up his life trying to rescue Cale who was first affected.
