Other Information
It seems he was on his way back home to South Australia where he met his wife halfway; they were going to have a holiday before returning home. However, James met up with Mr Pemberthy, manager of the Black Flag GM, who persuaded him to return to Black Flag. It appears that he was Mr Pemberthy's, right-hand man. This story was supplied by his great-niece, Elaine, in 2002. Inquest:- https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/226224304?searchTerm=%22James%20lyons%22
