Other Information
At "Broad Arrow", about eight year's ago, he was almost burnt to death in his camp. On that occasion many of the men on the field sacrificed pieces of skin, which were grafted onto the injured man's body and he made a wonderful recovery after being confined, to his bed for twelve months. He was particularly unfortunate, for on several occasions he was seriously injured in mining accidents.
