John WILLIAMS : John Williams & Elizabeth Kent When John Jnr Williams was born on 6 January 1839 in Helston Water, Cornwall, his father, John, was 35 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 29. He married Elizabeth Kent on 4 March 1861 in Baldhu, Cornwall. They had 12 children in 18 years. MEMBERS of the AMALGAMATED MINERS' ASSOCIATION are requested to follow the remains of our late comrade, Thomas Williams, to the Boulder Cemetery. The funeral will leave his parents' residence, Golden Gate, at 3 p.m. today. J. E. Dodd, Secretary

Many Friends of Mr. JOHN WILLIAMS are respectfully invited to follow the remains of his late son (Thomas James, late of the Associated Gold Mine), for interment in the Methodist portion of Boulder Cemetery. The funeral will leave his residence, Golden Gate, This (Friday) Afternoon, at 3.30 p.m. I. W. Goss and Co., Undertakers, Piesse-st. Tel. 100.

When Thomas Williams was born in 1874 in Clunes, Victoria, his father, John, was 35 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 34. He had five brothers and six sisters.
